Medicalgorithmics competes in the global market for remote cardiac diagnostics and AI-based ECG signal analysis. Its toughest competition is in the United States, where the market leader is iRhythm Technologies with its ZIO XT and ZIO AT systems, alongside other meaningful players such as BioTelemetry/Royal Philips, Bardy Diagnostics and Cardiologs (acquired by Philips).

In the pure AI-arrhythmia-detection software segment, competitors include Philips Cardiologs, Preventice (part of Boston Scientific), AliveCor and smaller vendors of specialised analytics platforms. On the Holter and event-loop device side, Medicalgorithmics competes with enterprise-grade hardware suppliers and lower-cost Asian manufacturers.

In Europe and other non-US markets the company competes with local providers of conventional Holters and analytical software, while in Asia and Australia it builds presence through partnerships - including with Wellysis (a Samsung spin-off) in Korea and CardioScan in Australia.

Medicalgorithmics' advantage is the combination of the clinically proven PocketECG system, FDA-cleared DeepRhythmAI algorithms and the DRP platform that can process data from partners' devices. The partnership and licensing model lets the company participate in market growth without competing head-on with hardware giants.
