Summary of personal data processing under Articles 13 and 14 GDPR

This document describes how DATA EXPERTS L.L.C. - operator of the Serwis service - processes personal data of users and data from publicly available sources, including the National Court Register (KRS), the Court and Economic Monitor, the Financial Document Repository, and the Central Register of Beneficial Owners.
§1. Data controller
The data controller is DATA EXPERTS L.L.C., registered under State of Delaware, United States of America law, with its registered office at: 108 W. 13th Street, Suite 100, Wilmington, DE 19801, New Castle County, United States of America. Contact: kontakt@example.com.
§2. What data we process
- 2.1.Personal data of users who register, sign in, or contact us - email, hashed password, authentication session identifiers.
- 2.2.Public-registry data about companies and their representatives, shareholders, and beneficial owners - sourced from the Polish National Court Register (KRS), the Ministry of Finance, and other publicly available registers.
- 2.3.Usage analytics - anonymous or pseudonymous data about how the service is used (page views, interaction events, device type).
- 2.4.Cookies and similar technologies used to maintain sessions, remember preferences (including language), and measure service performance.
§3. Purposes and legal bases
- 3.1.Provision of the service and handling user accounts - Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
- 3.2.Publication and presentation of registry data - Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing information based on public sources).
- 3.3.Service improvement, analytics, and security - Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
- 3.4.Compliance with legal obligations (accounting, tax, responding to authorities) - Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR.
§4. Your rights under GDPR
- 4.1.Right of access to your data, rectification, erasure, and restriction of processing.
- 4.2.Right to data portability.
- 4.3.Right to object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- 4.4.Right to lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (Prezes UODO).

§5. Retention and sharing
Account data is retained while the account is active plus the statutory retention period after closure. Registry data is refreshed from source systems and retained as part of the service. We do not sell personal data. We may share data with service providers (hosting, email, analytics) under GDPR-compliant data-processing agreements, and with public authorities where required by law.
§6. International transfers
Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other safeguards permitted under GDPR.
