Voivodeship ranking
Safest voivodeships
Public and road safety: crime rate, detection rate and road fatalities.
The Safest voivodeships ranking covers all 16 Polish voivodeships with a single composite score on a 0–100 scale. Source data comes from the Polish Statistical Office (GUS), the Local Data Bank (BDL), Eurostat regional accounts and other registry sources, normalised so that voivodeships of different size and population can be compared directly.
The composite weighs 4 indicators; the heaviest contributors are listed in the methodology section below the table. Each contributing series has its own coverage threshold - voivodeships with insufficient data points are excluded from the ranking rather than ranked on partial information.
Use the table below to read the full standings, the score for each voivodeship and the underlying value of the leading indicator. Click a voivodeship name to open its profile with all available BDL series, year-on-year changes and a downloadable methodology note.
